Role: Principal Engineer
Location: Remote (with a potential to come to Canada)
Key Responsibilities:
Data Infrastructure Leadership: Champion the architecture, design, and deployment of cutting-edge data infrastructure tailored for global biotech labs.•
Collaboration with AI & ML Teams: Collaborate closely with AI and ML units, ensuring integration of advanced solutions that enrich and streamline their data processes.•
Team Development and Mentorship: Guide and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth and excellence, while continually learning from seasoned professionals and founders.•
Technical Excellence: Design, optimize, and manage robust APIs for efficient data communication and integration. Stay ahead of the curve by adopting and implementing emerging technologies and best practices in data infrastructure.
Tech Stack:
Frontend: React JS, Next JS
Backend: Elastic Search, AWS Lambda, Rabbit MQ, Mongo DB, S3, Java Spring Boot
Architecture: Microservices integrated with GraphQL and Rest APIs•
AI Infrastructure: TensorFlow (Proprietary ML), Azure AI Service, Azure Open AI service

Must Have Skills:
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proficient with AWS and its suite of data services.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Lambda function, MQ, Java spring boot, Elastic Search, Python, Mongo DB, Dynamo DB, and S3 bucket.
Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, React & Javascript.
A solid grasp of microservices and associated best practices.
Experience in data engineering is preferred.
