About the role:
As a Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you will be playing a critical role in designing & delivering performance marketing tactics and conversion funnel optimization for our financial product marketplace (credit cards, bank accounts, etc.) In this role, you will leverage data, model insights and experimentation to connect our 3+ million members to products that suit their interests and financial profiles through a mix of emails, push notifications and in-app content placements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategy and execution of Borrowell’s omni-channel performance marketing strategy for our financial product marketplace. This includes audience segmentation, contact strategy management, conversion funnel optimization, end-to-end execution & reporting.
- Run experiments (at both the campaign and strategy level) to help test drive new approaches, content and drive ongoing optimization.
- Design and implement retargeting, cross-sell and down-sell campaigns to nurture intent and optimize conversion funnels.
- Act as a thought leader in lifecycle marketing, influencing strategies for Borrowell’s overarching product & lifecycle vision by collaborating with the broader Lifecycle Marketing team, Product, Design, Engineering and Data Science teams.
- 3+ years experience in email management/testing, deployment, user segmentation, data analytics, and reporting
- Strong background in content personalization via dynamic scripting
- Experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, & CDPs (Blueshift, Hightouch, mParticle, etc.)
- Prior experience in designing, delivering and managing a series of campaigns & email automations/ journeys
- Data & results driven. Comfortable with designing data logic to trigger journeys/ emails and also working with data to understand results and drive recommendations. We love data funnels here!
- Experience with Looker, Tableau or other data visualization tools
- Test-savvy. Experience in running A/B and multivariate tests on content, design, and segmentation to optimize top-of-funnel performance
- Proven success in working with cross-functional teams including the ability to communicate ideas, collaborate on execution and report on results
Nice to Haves:
- Basic understanding of SQL for audience segmentation
- Experience working in a fast paced, high output, scale-up environment
- HTML/CSS language is an asset
- French is also an asset

We are remote-first across Canada with an office in Toronto. This role will require you to attend in-person meetings and team-building events.
