This is a Corp-to-Corp Contract role.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is an expert in automating a build/deploy pipeline rather than hands-on deployment. Someone with DevOps application experience rather than DevOps infrastructure experience.
Work Description and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for multiple applications
teams
Automate build, test, and deployment workflows using YAML-based pipelines
Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate unit, integration, and automated UI
tests into the pipeline
Manage and troubleshoot build and release processes, including build agents, environments, and
approvals
Integrate security and compliance checks (e.g., static code analysis, secrets scanning) into CI/CD
workflows
Work with application teams to adopt Azure DevOps, including migrating of applications from
legacy environments such as TFS and Jenkins to Azure DevOps
Must live permanently in the US, and have a US Citizenship or be a GreenCard holder with no work restrictions.

Must Have Skills:
Skills Required:
CI/CD & Azure DevOps:
· Extensive experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML)
· Strong understanding of build and release pipelines, approvals, gates, and deployment strategies
· Experience managing Azure Repos, Git branching strategies, and repository permissions
· Integration of pipelines with external tools for scanning, testing, and deployment
Scripting & Automation:
· Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation and pipeline tasks
· Experience with custom script integration in CI/CD processes
· Experience leveraging APIs as part of the delivery of automation scripts
Source Control & Versioning:
· Expertise in Git, Git workflows, and version control best practices
Build Tools & Artifact Management:
· Knowledge of build tools (e.g., MSBuild, Maven, Gradle, npm)
· Experience with Artifactory
Deployment & Release Automation:
· Hands-on experience with blue/green, canary, and rolling deployments
· Familiarity with deploying to AKS, App Services, Functions, or container-based workloads
Soft Skills:
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholder teams
· Comfortable in Agile/Scrum environments
