About the Role:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and fair-minded Senior Arbitration Specialist to join our team. In this role, you’ll help resolve post-sale disputes with Clutch wholesale vehicle buyers, ensuring all cases are handled efficiently and in line with OMVIC and auction policies.
What you’ll do:
- Investigate vehicle condition disputes such as frame damage, mechanical issues, odometer discrepancies.
- Review inspections, diagnostics, and Carfax reports to determine claim validity.
- Interpret and apply arbitration rules from our partners including Openlane, ADESA, and EBlock for auction-specific policies.
- Coordinate inspections, document case details, and communicate resolutions professionally.
- Work closely with internal teams and buyers to facilitate fair and timely outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- 2-3 years of vehicle arbitration background or knowledge, particularly in the pre-owned vehicle industry.
- Familiarity with OMVIC regulations and Ontario’s Motor Vehicle Dealers Act.
- Ability to analyze technical reports, safety standards, and lien/ownership documents.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with auction platforms such as Openlane, ADESA, EBlock, DMS tools, and lien search systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Sheets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working 100% on-site at our Mississauga facility.
