We are seeking an accomplished Sr. Manager, FP&A to operate as a strategic financial partner, specifically supporting our Go-to-Market (GTM) organization (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations). Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and executing financial planning, analysis, and reporting that directly drives our GTM strategy and enables us to sustain our hyper-growth trajectory.
This role is for a strategic, hands-on leader who functions as both a financial analyst and a business partner. You will build and manage the financial framework and planning cadence for our GTM engine, directly enabling key stakeholders to make data-driven decisions that impact revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, and lifetime value.
This is a hybrid role based in our SF office.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Planning & Forecasting: Own the annual budgeting and long-range planning processes for all GTM functions. Develop detailed financial models, including revenue forecasts, headcount planning, and operational expenditure budgets, with a focus on key SaaS metrics (e.g., ARR, bookings, churn, and net retention).
Performance Analysis: Design and deliver insightful reporting and analysis, including monthly/quarterly variance analysis to GTM leadership and the executive team. Provide deep-dive analysis on GTM investment efficiency (e.g., ROI on marketing spend, sales productivity, CAC payback).
Business Partnership: Serve as the primary finance liaison for the GTM organization, translating operational strategies and initiatives into financial outcomes. Advise on resource allocation, pricing and packaging strategies, and compensation plan effectiveness.
Systems and Data Integrity: Collaborate with Revenue Operations to ensure data quality, consistency, and proper system architecture to support accurate financial reporting and operational dashboards.
Board Relations: Prepare financial materials for Board of Directors meetings and updates, with a focus on GTM performance, growth drivers, and strategic initiatives.
What We Look For:
Experience: 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance/FP&A, with at least 3+ years directly supporting Go-to-Market functions (Sales, Marketing, CS) in a high-growth SaaS environment.
Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and using FP&A or ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, Anaplan). High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
SaaS Expertise: Strong understanding of core SaaS financial and operational metrics (e.g., ARR, Billings, CAC, LTV, Gross Margin) and best practices for GTM scaling.
Communication & Collaboration: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial executives and team members.
Aptitude: A keen sense of ownership, urgency, and the ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, startup environment
