About the Role
Are you excited about applying data science and machine learning to solve real-world, mission-critical problems at scale? B3 enables enterprise manufacturers to digitize their operations and leverage AI to dramatically enhance performance. As a Data Scientist, you’ll work closely with software engineers, domain experts, and business stakeholders to turn complex industrial data into production-ready AI solutions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable across the full data science lifecycle — from data exploration and feature engineering to model development, validation, and deployment. You should be fluent in applied machine learning, confident working with noisy real-world data, and motivated to see your work used in live production environments.
You’ll apply your analytical mindset, curiosity, and problem-solving skills to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.
Qualifications
Required
- Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis and machine learning.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
- Experience working with real-world, messy datasets (time-series, sensor, or event data preferred).
- Solid foundation in statistics, modeling, and model evaluation.
- Ability to learn quickly, work independently, and make sound decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work within complex systems.
Desired
- Experience deploying models into production environments.
- Familiarity with SQL and data pipelines.
- Exposure to predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, or forecasting.
- Experience with Azure or cloud-based data platforms.
- Understanding of industrial, manufacturing, or operational data.
