Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking an SMB Sales Representative who will generate sales of MyGeotab solutions within the Spanish SMB market by managing the full sales cycle and leveraging digital communication tools to connect with businesses. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
As an SMB Sales Representative your key area of responsibility will be taking ownership of the marketing funnel and managing the entire customer journey from initial lead handoff to final contract execution. You will be responsible for the implementation of strategic lead qualification and high-velocity sales responses, as well as managing day-to-day outbound prospecting and CRM records in Salesforce. You will also need to provide regular status reports on sales activities to key partners to ensure data-driven decision-making and that every deal delivers long-term value. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s internal strategic teams, as well as communicate with external business customers across Spain.
To be successful in this role you will be a motivated self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English, and have the ability to quickly understand complex technical solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and consultative selling skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, and manage a consistent sales pipeline through completion. The successful candidate will also be able to manage multiple timelines and contrasting priorities to ensure timely results.
How you'll make an impact:
- Move beyond "order taking." Rapidly engage with marketing-generated leads to diagnose fleet challenges, such as fuel efficiency, compliance risks, or EV transition hurdles.
- Take immediate ownership of the marketing funnel, ensuring a fast and professional response to all inbound inquiries.
- Manage the entire customer journey, from the initial MQL (Marketing Qualified Lead) handoff to final contract execution.
- While marketing provides the volume, you provide the spark. Conduct strategic outbound prospecting into high-value accounts to ensure a consistent pipeline.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure every deal delivers long-term value for both the customer and Geotab.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all sales activities within Salesforce to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Balance working autonomously with being a proactive team player.
- Use problem-solving skills to match Geotab’s complex technical solutions to simple business needs.
- Maintain high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail in contracts and CRM management.
- Adapt quickly to the fast-paced evolution of the telematics and IoT industry.
What you'll bring to this role:
- 2-4 years of full-cycle B2B sales experience (SaaS or IoT experience is a significant advantage).
- Experience carrying a sales quota and a history of consistently exceeding targets.
- Strong ability to build rapport with business customers and drive revenue growth.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on consultative selling.
If you got this far, we hope you're feeling excited about this role! Even if you don't feel you meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.
