Geotab is seeking a Marketing Automation Specialist who will assist in the development of Geotab’s automation program including list management, journey builds, landing page creation as well as full-funnel reporting of all marketing campaigns through Salesforce. What you'll do:
As a Marketing Automation Specialist, your key area of responsibility will be building and executing multi-channel campaigns, gathering requirements and approvals, and assisting in building out marketing automation workflows. You will need to work closely with the Senior Marketing Automation Manager, as well as Geotab’s Product, Demand Generation, Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, and Business Systems teams. To be successful in this role you will be a data-driven marketer who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. In addition, the successful candidate will have the ability to prioritize tasks based on their impact to colleagues and KPIs, with a strong focus on contact strategy, leads management, and program governance.
How you'll make an impact:

Directly support organization objectives by building and deploying always-on and strategic email campaigns aligned to demand generation, lead nurturing, customer and partner lifecycle and loyalty and retention.

Build automated campaigns, sequences, triggers, templates, and segmentation through email, push notifications, and/or in-app/in-product messaging to drive conversion.

Perform QA on all campaign assets (emails, landing pages, forms, journey, segments) to ensure quality execution.

Work closely with leadership to support program and process evolution. Conduct ongoing testing related to subject lines, email copy, layouts and CTAs that drives conversion improvement.

Work with the marketing analytics team to gather funnel insights; lead generation, engagement, behaviour and conversion.

Support ongoing development and optimization of the lead management process, including tracking, scoring and routing.

Track marketing automation and email marketing analytics to improve engagement, qualified leads, and ROI.

Develop and share program/campaign performance dashboards and reports.

Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data quality.

Be the technical subject matter expert in Salesforce Marketing Cloud including educating and training other team members, understanding and communicating capabilities, limitations and best practice technical approaches in SFMC.
What you'll bring to this role:

3-5 years of automation, demand generation, and digital marketing experience.

3+ years of advanced experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud; SFMC Certification is considered an asset.

Hands-on experience with Ampscript, SQL Query, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and Marketing Cloud APIs.

Technical proficiency in Email Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Automation Studio, and CloudPages.

Strong understanding of B2B marketing concepts (sales funnel, lead scoring, demand waterfall) and data privacy laws (GDPR, CASL).

Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud integration and end-to-end implementation of complex enterprise journeys.

Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations from campaign data.
