Geotab is seeking an Intern who will immediately contribute to the organization and the European Communications team efforts. What you'll do:
As a Strategic Communications Intern, you will communicate Geotab events and news to internal and external stakeholders across our 7 key European regions: Benelux, Germany, France, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and the UK. You will need to work closely with Marketing team members as well as all internal departments. To be successful in this role, you will be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong marketing or communications background with a passion for Public Relations and social media.
The opportunity:
- 3+ month work-term beginning July 2026.
- Full-time, paid internship: Monday - Friday, 37.5hrs/week.

How you'll make an impact:
- Regional Support: Assist in tailoring communications and engagement strategies for diverse European markets.
- Social Media & Content: Provide content and administrative support for corporate social accounts, ensuring a consistent voice across the EMEA region.
- Media Intelligence: Support the management of Meltwater metrics, wire distribution, and reporting to provide actionable insights.
- Industry Research: Scan trade publications and news for trending industry insights to keep the team informed on regional market shifts.
- Collateral Development: Support the creation of media releases, presentations, award submissions and data analysis.
- AI Integration: Explore and implement AI-driven tools to enhance workflow efficiency, content ideation, and regional reporting.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Completing a post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations or a related field preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills, as well as a willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
- Excellent writer with strong eye for detail, highly professional and experience working with a variety of social media channels.
- Enthusiastic, creative, and self-motivated, with the ability to work with various departments across Geotab.
- Passion for technology and innovation as well as a strong understanding of, or a proactive curiosity toward, Generative AI tools.
- Proficiency in another European language (Spanish, Italian, French, or Dutch) is a plus (but not a must) given our support for the 7 key regions.
