This role requires close collaboration with teams across Canada, the UK, and India. To accommodate the time zone differences, you will be expected to work from 11 am to 7:30 pm IST.
💻 What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and rapidly building end-to-end features from scratch for Loopio’s web platform
Proactively build technology to prevent bugs as they come up, because you can’t stand crappy software
Interact with and gather detailed feedback from our customers because you understand that creating a user-centric experience comes first
Collaborate closely with our Product Managers and Product Designers in an agile environment to bring features to life and iterate on them based on our customers' feedback
Mentor and coach others, providing technical guidance and helping build an environment of knowledge-sharing and encouraged feedback
Contributing to Loopio’s AI roadmap by helping evaluate third-party models, optimising LLM integration patterns, and defining technical guidelines for AI-powered features.
Comfortable leading technical design discussions and facilitating technical decision making. Experience as a technical lead is a bonus!
✨ What You’ll Bring to the Team
4+ years of professional software development experience, with deep expertise in React / Angular and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Strong understanding of component architecture, state management, component lifecycle and building performant, maintainable UIs
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive/adaptive design principles
Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility and debugging tools
Experience with web performance optimization mechanisms: code splitting, lazy loading, bundle analysis, Core Web Vitals
Understanding of authentication/authorization patterns like JWT, OAuth2, session management
Familiarity with build tooling and bundlers: Vite, Webpack
Hands-on with modern styling and design systems: Tailwind CSS, Material UI, or equivalent
Experience with frontend testing, particularly Cypress or similar E2E/integration frameworks
Proven experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, including third-party integrations
Actively using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, Codex, etc.) with demonstrated productivity impact
Mentoring and collaborating with fellow engineers through coaching, design discussions, driving process improvements, code reviews, increasing productivity
⚒️Good to have
Exposure to AI technologies, particularly around LLMs (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.), embeddings, or natural language processing. While deep ML expertise is not required, familiarity with integrating or working with modern AI APIs is highly valuable
Experience with micro-frontends, module federation, monorepo architecture
Exposure to accessibility standards and building inclusive UIs

Loopio is a global company, HQ’d in Canada, that embraces flexible and effective work models. While many of our teams operate remotely, this role is part of a new, strategic product team that will work in a hybrid model to accelerate innovation and foster deep collaboration.
This hybrid role will likely be based in one of our key India hubs: Ahmedabad, with the expectation of working from our co-working space 3 days per week. This approach is intentionally designed to give you the best of both worlds: high-impact, in-person collaboration with your team to drive impactful product initiatives, and the flexibility of focused work-from-home days.
Our employees (or Loopers, as we call ourselves!) live and work in 🇨🇦 Canada (British Columbia and Ontario), 🇬🇧 London, and 🇮🇳 India (specifically in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Bengaluru).
Our India/UK hub employees work according to business hours stated in the job description above. This is intentionally designed to enable our global teams to have overlapping hours for collaboration.
You’ll collaborate with your immediate team in person and with our global teams virtually across the UK, Canada, and the US (we’re just a Zoom call and Slack message away!), with core sync hours and focus time for headsdown work 🙇🏾 during the workday
