About the role:
We are on a mission to build a world-class team that drives innovation, growth, and excellence. As we scale rapidly, we are looking for an Auto Body Estimator to join our reconditioning facility team.
This role ensures that vehicle repair estimates are accurate, repairs are scheduled efficiently, and communication between repair shops and internal teams flows smoothly. You will help keep our reconditioning process on track, ensuring vehicles are repaired correctly and delivered on time. The shift schedule is Monday to Thursday, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM, and includes a $1.50 per hour shift premium.
What you’ll do:
- Review photos of damaged vehicles and help estimate repair costs (measured by accuracy, number of estimates, and turnaround time)
- Coordinate with repair shops to collect quotes, pricing, and service details
- Schedule repair appointments for vehicles being sent to repair facilities
- Organize and process invoices for repair services
- Respond to calls and emails from management with updates on scheduling and repair status
- Support high-volume estimating and appointment coordination in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain organized records of repair estimates, appointments, and communications
- Follow up with repair shops and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met
- Identify and resolve discrepancies or communication gaps between shops and management
- Use internal systems and communication tools (e.g., email, Google Drive, Slack) to track workflow
What You'll Have:
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Communication: Proven ability to communicate effectively with management, vendors, and internal teams in a clear and professional manner.
- Problem Resolution: Ability to identify and analyze scheduling, estimate, or invoice discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately when needed.
- Customer Service: A professional and approachable communication style with a commitment to delivering a positive customer experience.
- Collaboration: Ability to balance independent administrative tasks while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Initiative: A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to influence processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Work Environment: Comfortable working on-site in a fast-paced reconditioning facility setting.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a high level of organization to manage competing priorities effectively.
