This contract (US-based Corp to Corp)
We're looking for a Senior .NET Developer who has spent real time in the trenches — someone who has debugged production issues at 2am, made hard architectural trade-offs, and can explain why they made them, not just what they did.
You have a strong computer engineering foundation — the kind that shows up when the framework doesn't have an answer and you have to reason from first principles. You're comfortable owning the backend end-to-end, but you can hold your own across the full stack when needed.
We care less about your ability to define SOLID principles and more about whether you've ever had to refactor a codebase that violated them — and what you learned. If you've inherited legacy .NET systems, wrestled with performance under load, or navigated the gap between a clean design and a messy real-world constraint, we want to hear about it.
This isn't a role for someone who has memorized documentation. It's for someone who has worn the documentation out.
