What you'll be responsible for

Ownership of projects, from solutioning to deployment.
Implementation of features, bug resolution, and maintenance of our applications.
Sharing leadership of technical, architecture and design decisions.
Supporting the team by helping to improve software development processes and techniques.
Helping your peers, and especially less experienced developers, become better, more rounded software craftspeople.

What we'd love to see in your work history

Core Skills and Experience

5+ years of software development experience
4+ years of experience building data-intensive backend services
Proficient with Python, Ruby and/or one of the general purpose programming languages
Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases
Solid experience with Object Oriented architecture and Design
Experience with testing frameworks
Experience working at startups or agile teams with diverse responsibilities

Preference will be given to candidates with the following

Experience in integrating AI/ML solutions with familiarity Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector embeddings
Familiarity with Machine Learning lifecycle
Experience building SaaS applications

Salary: $120,000-$140,000 CAD per year
