Our Client is looking to hire technical sales engineers to work in our Sales team. Successful candidates will play a pivotal role in supporting the team with technical product sales, demonstrations, webinars for existing and prospective industry partners.
This individual lwill work closely with Sales to answer to the more technical side of their solution. tehy will be instrumental in working alongside sales for all things pre-sale including;
- Support technical product discovery and sales to Utilities and Aggregators, EV Manufacturers, and Residential Solar & Storage Equipment Manufacturers.
- Support Business Development and Sales with product demonstrations, webinars, and other technical product information sessions, for prospective or existing customers
- Help drive channel partner (Automotive, Energy Markets, Homebuilder) adoption of dcbel Hardware and Software Product sales with Technical Sales support.
- Track performance against KPIs based on metrics inc. request volume and time to close, conversion rate, key sales activity and cost tracking
- Interface with post-sales Integration Support for evaluation of post-sales product integration work required
- Collaborate on customer proposals, including RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, and grant funding opportunities
- Support post sales product configuration with Technical Integration Team
Must Have Skills:
Bachelors in Engineering from top tier university or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience supporting selling in a technical and product-focused role (not B2B solutions) in the energy industry.
Working knowledge of power electronics;
Working knowledge of EV charging communication protocols (ISO 15118) and DER integration protocols (IEEE 2030.5, OpenADR);
Working knowledge of IoT communication protocols
