Our client, a well-funded, research—and product-focused generative AI startup in the video, entertainment, and media space, is looking to hire a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join its team. The team's philosophy is to move at breakneck speeds, iterate, and build top-class products.
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company platform and developing new features. You will be responsible for technical design and decisions, writing clean, scalable code based on customer and product demands and ensuring top-level code quality using best industry standards and practices.
You will also be expected to deliver strong technical and non-technical communication (internal and external) while maintaining a start-up mindset.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to meet with the team in the downtown Toronto office at least 1x per week.

Must Have Skills:
The ideal candidate will have the following and/or similar technical background:
8+ Years of demonstrable development experience using Javascript (Node.Js, Vue.Js, React)
Demonstrable experience with SQL, Postgres
Demonstrable experience building complex UI
Demonstratable experience building to scale
Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
The ideal candidate will also have the following/and or similar non-technical background:
Demonstrable ability to meet project deadlines
Experience working in a hyper-growth scaling startup
Clear and concise communication skills to technical and non-technical partners
