Our mission is to increase the success rate of small businesses. Traditional banking has been a growth limiter rather than a growth enabler for business owners, and we’re changing that. Relay is the all-in-one, collaborative money management platform. We’re building for employer SMBs and their finance function, internal and external, and are focused on delivering a human-centric customer experience. Ultimately, we help SMBs be ‘on the money'.
Relay is on an exciting growth path and we are looking for an exceptional Director of Product to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product. As the Product Team leader, you'll have the rare opportunity to: refine and drive the product strategy; scale and nurture a high-performing product organization; and help bring our vision to life for millions of small and mid-sized businesses.
What You'll Be Doing
Team Leadership & Growth: Build and scale a high-performing product team by assessing current team composition, recruiting top talent, and fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Roadmap Development: In collaboration with the COO, refine the product roadmap, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic initiatives. Ensure that product development delivers a measurable impact and is communicated across the organization.
Product Operations: Refine and develop product development processes, bringing in modern tools and methodologies, including those that leverage AI, to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering and other functional teams to define, prioritize, and operationalize new product features and initiatives. Strengthen relationships between Product and other departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution.
Revenue Diversification: Lead the launch of new revenue-generating products that diversify Relay’s platform, expanding the product portfolio and ensuring the company’s growth trajectory.
