We're looking for a product development leader to help define a team and architecture to grow our business in new ways. This Manager 3 Development will have the unique opportunity to build new offerings in the US and Canada and contribute to our global platform.
The Virtual Expert Platform (VEP) powers TurboTax Live by providing the underlying services and capabilities that enable AI-driven tax expertise for customers. It acts as a foundational platform for critical Intuit offerings like TurboTax Live, ensuring rapid onboarding and customization to meet their unique requirements and scale. This role will involve working with new VEP clients both inside and outside Intuit to help define how new and existing VEP capabilities can deliver amazing experiences to our clients. Success in this role will require deep client empathy, strong collaboration with product management, and a robust technical knowledge of VEP and Intuit-wide capabilities.

Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of professional and exceptionally intelligent developers helping build our TurboTax and Virtual Expert Platform teams
- Managing and mentoring a development team of 10-15 engineers
- Create shared vision and build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships and alignment with partners across the business (e.g. Product Management, Experience Design, Program Management, and Operations)
- Bring in external best practices, industry learnings and trends to drive continuous improvement
- Lead and coach the team on data analysis and hypothesis testing to drive breakthrough benefits
- Drive the execution of critical priorities to develop mobile enabled, worldwide SaaS products
- Partner with business and technology teams to prioritize roadmaps, requirements, balancing business need with financial and technology goals
- Partner with operations team to quickly resolve production issues and ensure high availability through prevention, monitoring, and resiliency strategies
- Build a culture of innovation, technical and operational excellence on the team
- Use proven leadership techniques and interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, partners, and customers
- Deliver business outcomes with quality at speed and in accordance with stated business and technical objectives consistent with Intuit’s architecture principles
- Execute in a fast-paced and highly iterative environment
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is:
San Diego, California $220,000 - $300,500
