What you'll do:
As a Product Delivery Manager your key area of responsibility will be integrating new features (hardware & firmware) into active product lines while managing the complete product lifecycle from rollout to phase-out. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless rollout of product changes, driving adoption of new features, and managing the ramp-down/phase out of legacy products. You will work hands-on with electronics contract manufacturers (CMs) to deliver enhancements at scale, manage change controls, and maintain a robust, compliant product portfolio. You will also provide regular status reports to key stakeholders and may manage the onboarding and integration of third-party products and services into the Geotab ecosystem. You will need to work closely with supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, and product management teams, as well as electronics contract manufacturers and internal subject matter experts (SMEs).
To be successful in this role you will be a detail-oriented professional with strong communication and relationship-building skills, capable of conducting thorough testing and research while maintaining comprehensive and precise documentation. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong cross-functional collaboration abilities with experience managing complex product lifecycles, change controls, and the ability to work at the intersection of multiple disciplines to deliver results at scale.
How you'll make an impact:

Drives product initiatives through the entire product lifecycle with focus on timely delivery depending on the phase of the product within the lifecycle (development vs in-life).

Owns day-to-day coordination with contract manufacturers (CMs) for electronics, to ensure timely and accurate implementation of changes to Bills of Material (BOMs), test processes, and firmware versions.

Leads project meetings to establish and maintain project deliverables, timelines and milestones updates.

Serves as a key point of contact for all technical deliverables, including scope changes.

Identifies and resolves operational risks and contributes to their resolution to prevent impact on production or customer delivery.

Leads cross-functional alignment for go-to-market activities, including SKU creation, packaging updates, fulfillment strategies, and customer rollout plans.

Leads end-of-life (EOL) execution including inventory depletion planning, communication, and operational shutdowns.

Bridges technical and commercial perspectives to support decision-making.

Provides regular updates on sustaining status, risks, and actions to key stakeholders including Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Support.

Manages third-party hardware providers , by defining integration plans, validating compatibility, and coordinating certification processes with external vendors.

Collaborates with Product and Program Managers (if applicable) to ensure processes are properly followed in all stages of the lifecycle.
What you'll bring to the role:

3-5 years of project/program management or product ownership experience in a technology organization.

Experience in high-tech, IoT, or automotive industries preferred.

Self-directed with ability to make data-driven decisions and maintain progress with minimal supervision.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make well-judged decisions.

Strong team-player with ability to engage at all organizational levels.

Technical competence using software programs including Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides) and JIRA.

Comprehensive understanding of hardware product lifecycle including New Product Introduction (NPI), in-life management, sustaining engineering, and End-of-Life (EOL) processes.

In-depth knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, Bill of Material (BOM) management, quality control, and supply chain principles.

Understanding of operational dynamics with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) and third-party hardware providers.

Proven ability to coordinate project tasks, track deliverables, maintain schedules, and facilitate cross-functional alignment.

Proficiency in using project management tools and capacity to drive tasks to completion while maintaining detailed records.

Exceptional ability to work effectively with diverse teams (Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support).

Ability to clearly articulate technical and operational information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Capacity to proactively identify operational risks, analyze complex problems, and implement effective solutions.

Meticulous attention to detail in managing documentation (BOMs, test plans) and tracking changes.

Drive for continuous process improvement and optimization within the product lifecycle.
