Geotab is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator who can translate functional requirements into technical requirements, and communicate with the internal technical teams and other stakeholders utilizing the Salesforce platform
What you'll do:
As a Senior Salesforce Administrator, your key area of responsibility will be to manage the ongoing development of Geotab’s Salesforce platform, to enable effective and efficient execution of sales and support best practices through the delivery of user support, case management, data management, configuration, and development.
How you'll make an impact:

Configure and administer Salesforce enterprise edition.

Guide business leaders and other stakeholders to define key problems and propose appropriate process and technology solutions in a structured manner.

Outline business requirements, define use cases, user interfaces, and test scenarios in collaboration with subject-matter experts.

Produce detailed technical specifications including, but not limited to: tables attributes, data validation rules, automation logic and code examples.

Manage the maintenance of the Salesforce platform, and associated CRM system(s) to ensure data quality and security.

Maintain and customize Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Knowledge and Communities applications.

Implement enhanced functionality as new needs and use cases arise.

Manage operational requests and troubleshoot issues.

Work with the Learning Centre to develop training materials and provide training and support to SalesForce.com end users.

Maintain database for integrity and accuracy, including cleansing and duplicate record management.

Develop and test new functionality and customization or enhancements.

Evaluate new releases of Salesforce to determine functionality requirements and provide detailed information on how changes will apply to all affected departments/users.

Oversee all technical aspects of Salesforce including data migrations, data quality, systems integrity, third-party applications, and AppExchange products.
What you'll bring to the role:

5-8 years of experience in Salesforce Administration.
-
Experience acting in design or advisory roles related to implementation of platform applications, and participating in projects involving significant scale and business change across multiple departments.

Strong understanding of business process reengineering and change management principles.
-
Experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment is highly valued.
-
Basic understanding of project management principles.
-
Ability to interpret business requirements and to estimate workload.
-
Experience in implementation and documentation preferred.
-
High accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
-
Ability to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
-
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
-
Superior analytical skills with the ability to problem solve well-judged decisions.
-
Team player with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization.
-
Technical competence using software programs, including but not limited to, Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
-
Experience with Field Service Lightning is a plus.

Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.
