🚀 About the Role: Senior Product Manager, Workflow & Automation
We’re growing — and we’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to own our core platform Workflows and Automations in commonsku! In this role, you’ll help us deliver a highly automated, highly intuitive end-to-end systems experience for our customers. You will help our customers do more by clicking less, taking their promo projects from idea to presentation to sales order to artwork/proofing to production to shipping and finally to invoicing. By automating as much of the workflow as possible, you’ll ensure our customers deliver faster projects, with fewer errors, and drive growth in their businesses.Â
You’ll collaborate closely with teammates across Engineering, Design, and Customer Success, contribute to a high-trust environment, and play a direct role in shaping the future of the industry.
đź’ˇ About You
You’re not just looking for a job — you’re looking for a place to do your best work. You bring:
A community mindset — You see customers as partners and coworkers as collaborators. You lift others up, always follow through on your commitments, and thrive in a team that does the same. (Community First)
Momentum and ownership — You act with optimism, take initiative, and turn ideas into results. You move fast and bring others with you. (Fast Forward)
Vision and boldness — You don’t just react — you anticipate. You think big, challenge the status quo, and push the work (and the industry) forward. (Ten Steps Ahead)
Joy in the craft — You care deeply about what you build and how it makes people feel. You bring thoughtfulness, transparency, and a sparkling sense of humour to the table. (Delightful Work)
🛠️ What You’ll Do
Here’s what you’ll do:
Own and drive the vision for the full Promotional Products Sales and Production workflow (end-to-end project lifecycle).
Define and own product metrics and baselines (cycle time, manual effort, error/defect rate, automation rate, project success, distributor margin impact).
Own and protect the existing project management functionality, understanding the implications of new features on existing ones.
Drive a roadmap focused on automation, orchestration, and work simplification — from small UX rules and templates to backend orchestration and AI-assisted automation.
Run discovery, hypotheses, experiments, and MVPs that reduce manual steps and error-prone handoffs.
Translate workflow complexity into clear product requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering and design.
Partner with Customer Success and ops to uncover edge cases and enforce solutions that scale.
Own releases/end-to-end validation for workflow automations and orchestration features.
Communicate progress and tradeoffs to stakeholders; be accountable to agreed KPIs.
Establish and maintain tooling and instrumentation to measure manual work, clicks, and automation coverage.
Evangelize automation-first practices across product and customer-facing teams.
🔍 What You Bring
Some of the experiences and qualities that help you thrive in this role:
6+ years of product experience, ideally with ownership of complex, multi-step revenue-impacting workflows on a SaaS platform.
Strong systems thinking and complexity management skills — ability to simplify messy, cross-functional processes into scalable product solutions.
Demonstrated experience designing or shipping workflow automation, orchestration, or process automation features; hands-on product leadership, not just theory.
Comfortable with generative AI and automation concepts and how to apply them safely to real workflows.
Familiarity with technical concepts (APIs, event-driven systems, backend orchestration) and working with engineering teams to deliver them.
Data-informed — able to define metrics, own baselines, and run experiments. (SQL is a plus but not required.)
Excellent communicator and pragmatic collaborator with cross-functional teams.
Experience working with Scrum / Kanban / continuous delivery teams.
Experience in supply chain, order management, or e-commerce workflows.
Familiarity with Promotional Products/Branded Merchandise industry or Promostandards (helpful but not required).
Hands-on experience with automation tools or orchestration platforms (UiPath, Airflow, n8n, Workato, or similar).
Experience building or shipping features that leverage generative AI for automation/augmentation.
Customer obsession with the ability to translate operational nuance into product improvements.
Comfortable with ambiguity and shipping iterative MVPs — “research-fast, build-faster” mindset.
Strong stakeholder influence and the ability to trade off scope vs. business impact.
Results driven: sets clear outcomes and relentlessly measures toward them.
