Our client is a venture-backed, deep-tech startup building advanced AI and game streaming software systems, backed by one of the largest edge computing platforms in the world. They empower game publishers and developers to stream high-performance games, and AI teams to run powerful, distributed workloads — all with low latency, high performance, and global scale.
As their platform evolves into a consumer-facing experience, quality assurance is mission critical. The team is seeking a QA Engineer who thrives in technical, cross-functional environments and is passionate about product quality, end-to-end system reliability, and hands-on testing across diverse components.
Must Have Skills:
Responsibilities
• Execute manual, exploratory, and regression testing across frontend, backend, gameplay, and metrics layers
• Test game streaming performance across devices, browsers, and network conditions
• Validate APIs, logs, system behavior, data integrity, and event tracking
• Build and maintain automated test scripts and testing environments integrated into CI/CD pipelines
• Own QA coverage for user journeys (e.g., onboarding, gameplay, session exit)
• Partner closely with engineering and product to improve test strategies and identify risks early
• Participate in release validation and post-deployment issue investigations
• Contribute to QA documentation, best practices, and continuous process improvement
Note: This is an in-office role. Must be willing and able to go in office 5 days/week.
Nice to Have Skills:
• Experience with performance, reliability, or security testing
• Familiarity with logs, observability, and monitoring tools
• Background in testing D2C, consumer-facing, or gaming platforms
• Experience with distributed systems or edge-based infrastructure
