What you'll do:
As a Revenue Operations Data Analyst, your key area of responsibility will be maintaining data systems and utilizing statistical tools to interpret data sets, ensuring data integrity, and providing actionable reporting to sales, marketing, and customer support stakeholders. You will need to work closely with Geotab’s Data professionals across multiple departments, including Data Engineering and Data Science teams.
To be successful in this role, you will be a strong team player with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable in a flat organization and able to engage with all levels of the company. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage AI tools like Gemini for data processing and analysis tasks. This role requires occasional business travel to the United States, estimated at less than 10% of the time. The successful candidate must be eligible to perform short-term business visitor activities (e.g., attending meetings or training) in the U.S. when required.
How you'll make an impact:
- Examine large data sets to identify trends, develop charts, and create visual presentations to help businesses make more strategic decisions.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for sales, marketing, and customer support teams using BI tools such as Superset.

Write SQL queries to find answers to complex business questions and coordinate with data engineering teams to gather incremental new data.

Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis while identifying data quality issues and partialities in data acquisition.

Utilize statistical tools, data mining, and model building to interpret data sets and prepare reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions.

Work with data scientists to leverage machine learning models developed against the company's big data environment.

Consistently demonstrate Core Values in all daily work and interactions and contribute to the maintenance of the data repository.
What you'll bring to the role:
- 3 - 5 years of technical experience in data-focused roles such as Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Analyst.

Post-secondary Degree/Diploma specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

Advanced proficiency in SQL and experience with database design and writing complex queries.

Direct experience working with CRM data, specifically Salesforce, and big data techniques for extracting value from large datasets.

Strong experience with BI tools such as Superset, Power BI, or Tableau.

Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Airflow, and machine learning concepts.

Experience with data science tools (e.g., Python, Pandas, NumPy) is highly preferred.
