Geotab is seeking an Enterprise Portfolio Project Manager who will manage key cross-functional technical projects and initiatives that vary in scope and complexity with impact on several business areas across the organization. What you'll do:
As an Enterprise Portfolio Project Manager, your key area of responsibility will be ensuring projects produce required deliverables of quality within time and cost constraints, while independently managing resource requirements, risks, change, and project documentation. You will need to work closely with all Geotab teams, external partners, senior management, and technical teams to act as the primary liaison and point of contact.
To be successful in this role you will be a self-motivated, decisive leader with excellent diplomatic and interpersonal skills, capable of adapting to shifting priorities in an entrepreneurial environment. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead diverse project teams and drive projects to completion while balancing process with innovation.
How you'll make an impact:

Responsible for overall project execution success, serving as the main point of contact for clients, senior management, and project stakeholders.

Oversee all aspects of the implementation and progression of assigned projects, from original concept through project closure activities.

Provide leadership for the project team by building and motivating them to meet project goals and adhere to their responsibilities and project milestones.

Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project issues, risks, and changes to ensure project success and minimize impact on scope, schedule, and budget.

Provide clear and timely status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure stakeholders are informed and aligned.

Participate in establishing best practices, templates, policies, and tools to expand and mature project management capabilities for the organization.
What you'll bring to the role:

3 - 5 years of experience in Project Management or relevant experience demonstrating the ability to drive projects to completion.

Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related Technical field.

Experience working in a technical or engineering organization with knowledge of Agile approaches (SCRUM, XP, Kanban) and JIRA.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and manage various project team sizes, including internal and external resources.

Technical competence using software programs, including Google Suite for business (Sheets, Docs, Slides).

Professional certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM/PSM, or Technical Certifications (CISSP, CISA) are highly valued.

Flexible with a proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
