Gumloop – Video Producer
Location San Francisco HQ (Jackson Square). In-office 5 days a week, plus as needed for shoots.
Why this role exists We're building a library of educational content that actually makes people want to learn — not the kind you skip through at 2x speed. Our product is powerful and evolving fast, and we need someone who can translate that into content that's clear, engaging, and worth paying attention to. You'll own the full video pipeline from script to publish, working closely with our head of community and education and the product team.
What you'll do
Script & story — Take content outlines and turn them into tight, narrative scripts. Partner with curriculum, product, and other teams to get the details right without losing the thread.
Produce end-to-end — Record voiceover, capture screen recordings, edit, and finalize. You're comfortable owning the whole process independently.
Ship & publish — Thumbnails, descriptions, keyword tags, captions — you handle the full packaging and stage videos for release.
Manage the pipeline — Run the approval process from first draft to final cut. Keep multiple projects moving simultaneously across stakeholders without things falling through the cracks.
Know when to invest — Not every feature requires an in-depth video. Sometimes a quick walkthrough will do. You’re comfortable with the product to know when to invest and when someth
Push the craft forward — Experiment with new formats, teaching approaches, and AI-powered production tools to make content better and faster.

Are fluent in at least one serious editing tool (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Descript, etc.).
Can manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously without losing your mind.
Obsess over making things clear and watchable — you'd rather re-cut something three times than ship something mid.
Get excited about using AI and automation to speed up production, not just as a buzzword but as an actual workflow improvement.
Have a knack for narrative — you know how to structure a lesson so it clicks.
