We’re working with a fast-growing clean energy startup developing next-generation residential energy systems that integrate solar, battery storage, EV charging, and intelligent energy management.
They’re looking for a Field Engineer to play a critical role in supporting the expansion of their installer network across North America. This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on working directly with installers and partners in the field — helping bring advanced energy systems into real-world environments.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Support the growth of an installer network across Canada and the U.S.
- Deliver on-site training to new installation partners
- Provide technical support during installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Assist partners during early-stage deployments and customer demonstrations
- Act as a technical point of contact for installers and channel partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve field performance and product adoption

Must Have Skills:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) or equivalent hands-on experience
- Strong field experience with:
- installations
- commissioning
- troubleshooting electrical or energy systems
- Experience supporting customers, installers, or technical sales processes
- Working knowledge of:
- electrical systems and power electronics
- Canadian / U.S. electrical codes
- Comfortable working in dynamic, customer-facing environments
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with:
- solar systems
- battery storage (BESS)
- EV charging infrastructure
- Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. IoT, energy systems)
- Previous experience training or onboarding field teams or partners
