This role is part of the Creative Shop - a studio-style team of designers, motion specialists, 3D artists, and strategists that operates like an agency within one of Canada’s top fintechs - working exclusively on Growth Portfolio initiatives.This is your chance to merge timeless design craft with AI-powered innovation and see your work reach millions of Canadians.
The Growth Portfolio is responsible for our newest, most ambitious bets: Crypto, Mortgages, and emerging asset classes. We are not just optimizing existing lines of business; we are launching entirely new verticals that challenge the status quo.
We are looking for a Senior Brand & Marketing Designer who thrives in the "0 to 1" phase. You will join a high-caliber creative team but focus your energy on bringing these new products to market, translating complex financial innovations into compelling, human-centric brands. You won’t just execute campaigns; you will help define the visual language for our crypto offering, reimagine the mortgage brand experience, and build high-conversion marketing systems for products that don't even exist yet.
This role reports to the Director of Product Design and works closely with Growth Product Managers, Marketing Directors, and the rest of the Creative Shop.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Launch New Brands: Lead the visual development and brand identity for new verticals (Crypto, New Asset Classes) and brand evolution for existing growth drivers (Mortgages).

Drive Growth through Design: Concept and execute high-performance marketing creatives (social, display, email, landing pages) that are rigorously tested and optimized for conversion.

Bridge Product & Marketing: Ensure a seamless visual thread between the marketing hook and the product onboarding experience.

Experiment & Iterate: Work in rapid sprints to test creative concepts. You understand that in a growth environment, speed and learning are as important as polish.

Storytelling: Translate technical features (e.g., crypto staking, mortgage switching) into simple, empowering visual narratives that resonate with our "Ambitious Optimizer" customers.

Systematize Success: Create scalable design templates and toolkits that allow the marketing team to move fast without sacrificing brand quality.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product designers to ensure the brand promise made in marketing is kept in the product UI.

5+ years of experience in brand and marketing design, ideally within a high-growth tech company, fintech, or agency environment.

A "Builder" Portfolio: You can show examples where you helped launch a product, refresh a brand, or drove a significant growth metric.

Versatility: You are equally comfortable kerning the type for a brand book as you are designing a high-converting landing page or a punchy Instagram ad.

Proficiency in Modern Tools: Expert in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite. Comfortable with (or excited to learn) generative AI tools to accelerate concepting.

Strategic Chops: You don't just make things look pretty; you ask "who is this for?" and "what do we want them to do?"

Comfort with Ambiguity: You thrive in environments where the brief might change, and the path forward isn't always clear.
Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $110,00 - $150,000
-
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
