We’re looking for our next Product Manager Could It Be You?
The Product Manager leads, manages and grows the product strategy and life-cycle for a number of core Investment programs, to continually increase market share and drive product and feature adoption within target segments. Own key product partnerships to drive product differentiation and
Working closely with others in the product management function, lead the execution, implementation and growth of core programs on the Investing product strategy and roadmap, including those involving external partnerships.

1. Industry and product knowledge
-
Continually maintain a complete understanding of the Financial Services landscape as it relates to threats and opportunities for Questrade’s existing and future products
-
Consistently execute product disciplines, including requirements gathering, business casing, prioritizing, overseeing implementation and post-project reporting.
2. Product Strategies and Roadmaps
-
Lead the development and implementation of product strategies and roadmaps consistent with company vision for core product programs and partnerships.

Grow market share and product and feature enhancements for our Investing business by leveraging existing and new external partnerships.

Contribute to the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for our self-direct investing business (investor segment), with emphasis

Develop business cases to support stakeholder approval of new projects
-
Responsible for the strategy and implementation of the roadmap for core Investing programs and partnerships.

Incorporating feedback and input from customers, partners and in-house teams on product strategy and finding ways to expand product market reach

Maintain comprehensive, competitive information on product pricing, capabilities, initiatives, market penetration
3. Manage / oversee development of new product features
-
Work with product team to coordinate cross-functional teams
-
Ensure features and releases are launched correctly and on schedule and with minimal impact on customer experience

Manage external partners and stakeholders to facilitate project completion according to agreed-upon schedules
-
Drive post-implementation reporting on key projects and suggest roadmap updates based on learnings
4. Accountable for the continual usage and adoption of current products

Provide regular reporting of product use and performance vs strategy
-
Identify opportunities for increasing adoption within existing customer base and work with relevant teams to implement tactics to achieve these goals

MUST HAVE
-
2-3 years of experience in product management
-
Post-secondary education with a focus on Marketing, Business or equivalent.

The incumbent must possess strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and project management skills.

Assertive self-starter. High energy and desire to work in a results oriented, fast growing environment

Excellent written and presentation communication skills
-
Results oriented person with the passion to bring great ideas to life

Strong project management skills, with the ability to work within tight deadlines and multi-task
-
Deep understanding of investing and trading, specifically within an self-directed model
NICE TO HAVE
-
Experience working within the finance industry, specifically investing/brokerage
-
Experience with software development and program management
-
Familiarity with Agile software development methodology
Compensation Information:
-
Base salary range: $110,000 - $150,000
-
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
