We’re looking for our next Broker Onboarding Specialist. Could It Be You?
Reporting to the Supervisor, Broker Management, the Broker Onboarding Specialist is responsible for all aspects of Broker Agent and Brokerage Onboarding. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance measures are met throughout the complete onboarding process for all broker agents and brokerages. The Broker Onboarding Specialist is responsible for registration, license verification, ongoing monitoring of broker activity and proactive identification of compliance issues. This role is results driven, competitive and exemplifies the spirit of a team player while also working individually.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Implement the CTC Broker Onboarding Procedure and ensure effective and timely Broker registration.

Monitor and update broker profiles in accordance with annual/bi-annual license requirements.

Successfully contribute to the department’s business plan through proactive call management.

Partner with Residential Lending Operations team to support and service partners within assigned territories.
-
Analyze and identify opportunities using reports to support growth.
-
Identify a list of potential broker and partner relationships and provide personal support to help improve and strengthen the relationship.

Develop and foster broker and partner relationships while always maintaining the highest level of professionalism and service standards.

Ensure compliance measures are met on all new registrations of Agents and their brokerages.
-
Monitor Agents/Brokerage licensing and ensure up-to -date information is retrieved and stored for new and existing partners.

Balance strong problem solving and decision-making abilities while meeting performance targets and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.

Together with the Marketing and Brand Management team, participate in the update of existing and creation of new broker communications including collateral materials, email content and innovative promotions.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competition, industry trends and market conditions.

Ensure accurate record keeping – both electronic and paper based and ensure that all records are stored and retained to meet Company standards.

Identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Follow AML procedures on all files with an emphasis on “Know Your Client” rules.

Proactively identify actual and potential violations of AML regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures or other AML/ATF risk situations at an early stage. Conducts appropriate inquiries and investigations in relation to any such situation and ensures that corrective actions and/or risk mitigation actions are implemented in a timely manner or escalated appropriately.

Have Post-Secondary Education (preferred).

Have superior interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Have strong knowledge of Google Applications and familiarity with the internet and related applications as tools for conducting research.

Have a solid understanding of the characteristics, attributes and risk factors associated with various loan types is preferred.

Have presentation skills.

Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $50,000 - $60,000
-
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
