Who you are:
We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator who will help ensure our facilities are safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained every day. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes ownership, responds quickly to practical problems, and enjoys supporting a high-quality workplace experience across multiple office locations. If you love keeping things running smoothly, solving facility challenges, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
As a Maintenance Coordinator your key area of responsibility will be the daily upkeep, maintenance, and readiness of Geotab's office facilities. You will perform routine building maintenance and minor repairs across assigned locations, support ongoing, emergency, and preventive maintenance activities, and coordinate with property management and external vendors to resolve facility issues. You will use Jira to manage facilities requests, document issues and updates, track work through to resolution, and support clear communication with internal stakeholders. You will set up and relocate furniture for office moves, events, and workspace changes; monitor cleaning and maintenance supplies; maintain tools and equipment; and assist with the Pool Car program. You will serve as a first responder for facility issues, track outstanding work, and provide on-call and after-hours support as needed.
You will work closely with the Manager, Office Experience, property management, vendors, and colleagues across Geotab to keep facilities safe, functional, and ready for use. To be successful, you will be practical, organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working independently while contributing to a team. This fully on-site role includes routine travel between Oakville, Waterloo, Toronto, and other Geotab offices.
How you'll make an impact:
• Perform upkeep and maintenance of all interior and exterior spaces across assigned Geotab locations.
• Complete minor adjustments and repairs to building equipment, systems, fixtures, and infrastructure.
• Travel to satellite offices, including Waterloo and Toronto, to perform maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs.
• Support scheduling of ongoing, emergency, and preventive building maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and property management for facility maintenance, repairs, and service delivery.
• Set up, arrange, relocate, or remove furniture and decorations to support office moves, events, and workspace changes.
• Respond to facility emergencies and urgent maintenance requests during and outside business hours.
What you'll bring to this role:
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• One to three years of experience in janitorial services, building maintenance, facilities coordination, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance procedures, cleaning equipment, products, techniques, and safe operating practices.
• Ability to perform minor repairs to building systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Strong organization, prioritization, communication, problem-solving, and service-oriented teamwork skills.
• Valid driver's license for travel between office locations and Pool Car program support.
• Trade certifications or WHMIS training are assets; willingness to provide on-call and after-hours support as needed.
