We are seeking a Staff Product Compliance Manager to guide the company as it grows its payments business and capabilities, with a strong focus on supporting our merchant business and ensuring adherence to payment ecosystem requirements.
This role is hybrid with on-site expectations of three days per week.
Responsibilities
Work directly with product, engineering, and business teams to drive money movement compliance for all payment products. The ideal candidate is adept at building and scaling compliance programs in a fast-paced fintech environment, with demonstrated experience creating tech-enabled policies and controls. You will own the risk assessment process, from development to presenting data-driven results and actionable insights to management.
- Collaborate with business, legal, and compliance teams to drive money movement compliance for new and existing products, focusing on merchant support, payment invoicing, and money transmission requirements, including scoping and defining compliance needs for product launches.
- Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and controls for payment offerings to ensure adherence to money transmission laws, network rules, and relevant banking regulations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on money transmission and other payment-related regulations translating these requirements into functional business specifications.
- Evaluate emerging payment products for compliance risks, particularly concerning card brand rules and money transmitter obligations, and advise business and operations teams on implementing compliant solutions and processes.
- Manage and contribute to regulatory exams, third-party audits (e.g., PCI), and internal reviews related to payment compliance and money movement.
- Communicate product compliance status, initiatives, and evolving payment industry trends, including regulatory and card brand rule changes, to partners and senior leadership.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $159,000 - $215,000, Southern California $142,000 - $192,500. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at Intuit®: Careers | Benefits).
