Paays is focused on solving fraud, friction, and inefficiency problems in auto retail/finance, where outdated manual processes and fragmented tools hurt customers, dealers, and lenders.
Paays is actively seeking a highly driven experienced Outbound Sales Representative to aggressively pursue a significant market opportunity. The ideal candidate will excel in a virgin territory where Paays is already a preferred vendor. There is an urgent market need for Canadian auto dealers to implement new anti-fraud processes and technology, and Paays is well-positioned in the space with the right solutions for dealers. With over 100 new clients acquired in the past six weeks and a massive potential client base across Canada, your role will be to tap into this unexplored market and secure new business.
Responsibilities:
• Lead Generation and Outreach: Proactively identify and engage with potential clients, primarily through cold calling and leveraging acquired dealer lists.
• Demo Booking: Focus on booking initial product demonstrations for prospective clients.
• Client Acquisition: Drive the acquisition of new clients, capitalizing on the high volume of inbound leads and market urgency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the existing sales team (e.g., VP Customer Success) who will handle subsequent contracting, invoicing, and training after demos are booked.
• Market Share Expansion: Contribute significantly to seizing the remaining market share from the large potential pool of dealers across Canada.
• Reporting: Track and report on sales activities and progress using modern CRMs
Must Have Skills:
• Education: Graduated from a Business, Commerce program or has related experience.
• Experience: 2-4 years of (B2B SaaS and/or autotech)sales experience, with a strong preference for individuals skilled in cold calling and direct outreach.
• Mindset: Hungry, eager to and possess a strong drive to acquire new business.
Skills:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong cold calling abilities and able to leverage client lists.
• Setting up demonstrations initially, and then transitioning to run client Demo’s.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Bilingual (English/French)
Nice to Have Skills:
• Industry Knowledge: While not explicitly required, understanding of fraud prevention or financial services is a plus.
