As the Head of AI, you will define and drive our client's AI vision, strategy, and execution. You will be accountable for building the AI-native foundation of our business ERP platform, ensuring that AI orchestration, governance, and innovation remain central to how our client differentiates itself from legacy ERP.
In this role you will lead the Holocron Keepers (our AI-focused team and training path), overseeing Principal and Senior AI/ML engineers while working closely with the Core Squadron members to embed AI directly into our client's Entity Runtime and BC# language. Your mandate includes guiding our AI Server, scaling AI-powered automation, and ensuring our AI systems are safe, cost-efficient, and business-impactful.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Define AI Strategy: Set the roadmap for our client's AI Server, covering AI Co-Workers, Entity Agents, and AI-driven workflows.
- Oversee Model Development: Direct the design, training, and deployment of ML/LLM models for predictive analytics, workflow optimization, anomaly detection, and conversational agents.
- Governance & Safety: Establish AI governance frameworks, HITL (human-in-the-loop) practices, ethical guardrails, and compliance mechanisms across the platform.
- Integration with Runtime: Ensure AI seamlessly interacts with our client’s Entity Runtime, Compiler, and BC# language features.
- AI Orchestration: Lead the development of orchestration layers (Semantic Kernel, Agentic Pods, MCP preparations) for multi-agent collaboration.
- Scale AI Infrastructure: Guide GPU clustering, cloud-native AI deployments, and token-optimized usage across LLMs.
- Cross-Domain Collaboration: Partner with Engineering, UX, Product, and Domain leads to embed AI intelligence into workflows, UIs, and integration connectors.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Manage and grow the Holocron Keepers team, including Principal ML Engineer(s), while fostering a culture of innovation and pragmatic delivery.

Must Have Skills:
Educational Background
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Deep theoretical grounding in:
Machine Learning & Deep Learning (transformers, reinforcement learning, multimodal models)
Probability & Statistics (Bayesian inference, causal reasoning)
Complex Systems & Optimization (multi-agent systems, emergent behavior, constraint solving)
Natural Language Processing & LLMs
Required
- 8+ years in AI/ML systems, with at least 3+ in leadership or head-of-function roles.
- Proven track record building and deploying production ML/LLM systems at scale.
- Hands-on expertise with Vertex AI, Gemini APIs, and/or comparable GCP AI services.
- Strong experience with orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, with working knowledge of C# and cloud-native patterns.
- Strong MLOps practice (model lifecycle, registries, monitoring, drift detection).
