For members, the product delivers clarity and confidence in the health decisions that matter most. For the experts behind it, it is a way to scale their life's work while retaining ownership of what they have built.
This role sets the design direction across every app, platform, and surface. You will own the complete design experience — from a member's first onboarding moment through sustained engagement across hundreds of sessions.
You will:
• Own the iOS app end-to-end, from first launch through long-term daily use
• Build and maintain the design system — color, typography, spacing, and components
• Work directly with engineering to ship designs with craft and precision
• Establish the visual identity at the system level across every surface
• Present design decisions to the founders and iterate on their feedback
Must Have Skills:
• 7+ years of experience designing products for responsive web
• Demonstrated experience shipping consumer mobile products (iOS) with substantial real-world usage
• Track record of building or substantially owning a documented design system
• Strong point of view - able to hold and defend design decisions under critical feedback
• Hands-on individual contributor who prefers to ship the work personally, not manage a team
• Comfortable using AI tools in the workflow while holding a high craft bar
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped products with clear problem-solving rationale
