We’re looking for our next Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A. Could It Be You?
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A supports and manages Questbank’s corporate financial modeling infrastructure and the maintenance and consolidation of complex financial frameworks.
This role is accountable for providing accurate, timely and relevant monthly, quarterly and annual financial analysis, data and reports to key stakeholders as well as performing and optimizing key monthly processes such as forecast model maintenance, opex reporting and monthly business and executive reports. The Senior Financial Analystwill also use AI to create efficiencies within their team and department.
This role collaborates with and supports the broader QFG FP&A team in support of consolidated reporting and financial modelling.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assisting with the annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles and liaising directly with QFG Corporate FP&A to ensure model and data consistency across the enterprise.

Forecast Model Maintenance and Improvement: Maintaining and optimizing corporate financial models on a monthly basis to assist with on-going initiatives.

Executive and Board Reporting: Assisting with preparation and delivery of high-quality, insightful monthly financial performance reports, board reports, and other corporate financial submissions, translating complex model output into clear business narratives.

Financial Analysis and Reporting: Delivering comprehensive financial analysis and management reporting, investigating key business drivers to provide actionable insights and executing complex.

Process automation: Identifying and implementing opportunities to automate manual reporting processes, reducing cycle times and increasing data integrity.

Continuous Innovation: Adopting and integrating emerging productivity tools and AI-driven applications to enhance financial accuracy and team efficiency.

Collaborating effectively with multiple levels of management, both verbally and in writing.

Leading ad-hoc special projects to support long-term strategic initiatives and executive decision-making.

Hold a degree or equivalent in Finance, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a related field

Hold a CPA or CFA designation (or working towards one)

Have 3+ years of finance experience with 1-2 years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on advanced financial model development within the financial services industry

Have expert proficiency in Excel and financial modeling applications (e.g., VBA, SQL, or specialized financial modeling platforms like Anaplan, Oracle EPBCS/Hyperion Planning)

Have effective communication skills, collaborating effectively with multiple levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing

Are pro-active and results-driven, able to multitask and work well under pressure, maintaining strong attention to detail and prioritizing work within tight deadlines
Compensation Information:

Base salary range: $80,000 - $95,000

The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
