Own revenue. Own retention. Operate like a founder.
Ground is building AI Revenue Agents that help the world's fastest-growing consumer brands generate more revenue. We work with leading ecommerce companies to uncover hidden growth opportunities through AI, data, and automation. Today, our platform powers over 100 brands and processes billions of data points every month.
We're looking for a Customer Growth Manager to own the commercial success of a portfolio of customers.
This is not a traditional Customer Success role.
You won't be measured by meetings held, QBRs completed, or NPS scores. You'll be measured by one thing:
Can you help customers grow?
You'll work directly with founders and growth leaders, identify revenue opportunities, influence customer strategy, and coordinate internally across product, engineering, and customer operations to maximize business outcomes. When accounts underperform, you take ownership, diagnose the problem, and drive the recovery. When customers succeed, you help them scale even further.
We're looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, moves quickly, makes data-driven decisions, and treats customer accounts like their own business. Whether you've been a founder, startup operator, growth marketer, or high-performing sales professional, what matters most is your ability to own outcomes-not just complete tasks.
If you want high ownership, high autonomy, and the opportunity to help build a category-defining AI company alongside some of the world's most innovative consumer brands, we'd love to meet you.
Job Responsibilities
- Own the revenue growth and retention of a portfolio of customer accounts, with full accountability for commercial outcomes.
- Develop strategic growth plans that help customers maximize the value of Ground's AI Revenue Agents and achieve measurable business results.
- Analyze customer data, revenue performance, and conversion funnels to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Identify risks early, proactively intervene when account performance declines, and execute recovery plans to improve retention and revenue.
- Build trusted relationships with founders, executives, and growth teams to influence strategic decisions and drive long-term customer success.
- Translate customer feedback, business insights, and performance data into clear, actionable recommendations that deliver measurable impact.
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Operations to prioritize customer needs, remove blockers, and accelerate outcomes.
- Prioritize high-impact initiatives, balancing multiple customer needs while maintaining a strong focus on business results.
- Design, test, and iterate growth initiatives to continuously improve customer performance and uncover new revenue opportunities.
- Serve as the internal quarterback for your accounts, ensuring problems are solved efficiently and customers continue realizing value from the platform.
- Operate with a founder's mindset by taking ownership, making informed decisions, and moving quickly in a fast-paced, high-autonomy environment.
- Continuously identify opportunities to expand customer value, strengthen retention, and make churn the least attractive option for every customer.
