If you thrive in an environment like this and are excited to shape and scale our growth engine, Baseline is the place for you.
Baseline is hiring a critical team member to help shape the future of our company: a Growth Marketing Associate. This is a full-time, in-person position at our offices in Toronto.
Who you are
You’re a data-driven, creative marketer who loves testing, learning, and iterating. You identify friction, run experiments, and move metrics. You’re equal parts strategist and executor: comfortable drafting copy, building landing pages, standing up campaigns, and digging into dashboards to understand what worked and why. You’re curious about our buyers, our category, and our competitors, and you turn those insights into campaigns that generate qualified demand and pipeline.
What you'll do
- Own Demand Generation: Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email, paid social/search, LinkedIn, content syndication, communities) to drive qualified leads and pipeline.
- Build & Optimize the Funnel: Create landing pages, lead magnets, and nurture flows; run A/B tests on headlines, CTAs, forms, and offers to improve CVR and CPL.
- Lifecycle & Nurture: Develop segmented email journeys (welcome, product education, re-engagement, win-back) that move prospects from awareness to demo to closed-won.
- Content that Converts: Collaborate to produce case studies, one-pagers, webinars, blog posts, and product walkthroughs that speak to private lenders’ pain points.
- Paid Media & SEO: Launch and manage targeted campaigns; research keywords, brief content for SEO impact, and monitor rankings and share of voice.
- Analytics & Reporting: Instrument campaigns, define KPIs (MQLs, SQOs, pipeline, CAC payback), and build weekly dashboards; make recommendations based on performance.
- Sales Alignment: Partner with Sales on lead handoff, SLAs, and feedback loops; iterate on messaging, ICP refinement, and enablement assets.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor moves, market trends, and feature releases; translate insights into timely campaigns and positioning tests.
- Events & Community: Support webinars, partner activations, and industry events; manage pre-/post-event cadences to maximize ROI.
- Marketing Ops Hygiene: Maintain clean CRM/marketing automation data, enforce UTM discipline, and document processes for repeatability.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in growth, demand gen, or lifecycle marketing at a B2B SaaS company (fintech or vertical SaaS a plus).
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics.
- Comfort running paid campaigns, building landing pages, and writing conversion-focused copy.
- Strong grasp of funnel metrics and experimentation (hypothesis design, A/B testing, statistical basics).
- Excellent written communication and storytelling; ability to translate product value into clear prospect outcomes.
- Bias to action, ownership mentality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Familiarity with private lending, real estate finance, or financial services is a plus but not a must.
What's in it for you?
- A front-row seat and a direct hand in scaling a fast-growing B2B SaaS company.
- Ownership of meaningful pipeline targets with visibility to leadership.
- Competitive salary and benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and paramedical coverage.
- A collaborative, high-performance team where your growth is encouraged and your work is felt.
