WHO WE ARE
Baseline is an ‘Operating System’ for private Lenders in the US who make real estate secured loans, primarily for real estate investors (i.e. house flippers, landlords, or developers). Our platform helps lenders originate and service loans, manage borrowers and investors, streamline business processes and create technology-enabled workflows that allow them to expand their businesses and improve profitability.
Baseline was founded in 2022 and raised a $2.2m CAD seed round in May 2024. We experienced 300%+ revenue growth in 2025 and are tracking for similar growth in 2026. We have a market-leading product in our category and have ambitions to become the dominant software in the entire private lending industry.
We’re now hiring a Content Producer to elevate and scale our presence across platforms. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Toronto.
ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Content Producer, you’ll be responsible for owning Baseline’s video and multimedia content pipeline from end to end. This includes planning, storyboarding, filming, directing, lighting, audio, editing, and delivering high-quality content across social media, web, paid campaigns, email, and events.
You will work closely with Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership to turn ideas into compelling visual content. You should be highly creative, technically advanced, resourceful, and comfortable operating as a one-person production team.
This is a hands-on role with a significant impact on Baseline’s brand and demand generation engine.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Strategy & Planning
- Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop Baseline’s video content strategy.
- Translate product, brand, and campaign goals into visual storytelling concepts.
- Maintain a content calendar aligned with major product releases, events, and industry trends.
Video Production
- Lead end-to-end production: scripting, storyboarding, shot planning, and directing.
- Shoot and produce a wide variety of content including:
- Customer stories & testimonials
- Product demos and walkthroughs
- Founder/leadership features
- Industry education (“private lending insights” videos)
- Event recaps
- Social-first content (short-form reels, YouTube, LinkedIn content)
- Manage lighting, audio, cameras, and production equipment.
Post Production & Editing
- Edit videos into polished, brand-aligned assets.
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, title cards, and branded elements.
- Mix sound, color-correct, and deliver final files across platforms.
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form assets for multiple channels.
Content Management & Distribution
- Own content organization and file systems.
- Deliver content optimized for LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and paid channels.
- Publish and monitor performance, optimizing formats based on results.
Cross Functional Collaboration
- Work with Customer Success to highlight customer wins.
- Support Sales with high-impact video assets for outbound and ABM campaigns.
- Support Product Marketing with feature videos and release videos.
- Work with Leadership to craft narrative content around Baseline’s mission and growth.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 3–7 years of experience producing video content for a brand, agency, or SaaS company.
- Expert-level video production skills: camera operation, lighting, audio, directing.
- Strong editing skills in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut.
- Familiarity with After Effects or equivalent motion design tools.
- Ability to take a concept from strategy to storyboard to final cut independently.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and tone.
- Ability to work fast, juggle multiple projects, and hit deadlines.
- Experience creating content for LinkedIn, YouTube, and social platforms.
- Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating your taste and craft.

The starting annual salary for this role is fixed at $75,000, with an opportunity to exceed market benchmarks over time based on your contributions. This is a full-time in-office position, with 5 days a week required at our building located at 507 King Street East, Toronto.
