The Opportunity:
Borderless AI is seeking a seasoned HR Operations Manager who will manage and lead multiple customer-facing HR functions related to employer and employee onboarding, global benefits, global payroll support, and day-to-day interactions with our customers. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a natural self-starter, and be able to adapt to our ever-evolving software as we develop our best-in-class platform for our customers. This role will ensure all local regulatory and compliance procedures are performed correctly and accurately, as well as be responsible for planning, developing, and organizing new business procedures related to global payroll and benefits.
Role and Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day customer communications including hosting customer support calls, quarterly business reviews, and customer account presentations
- Drive customer onboarding, adoption, and ongoing success across the Borderless AI platform
- Support customers with their HR operations including benefits administration, payroll,
- employee onboarding, and employee offboarding
- Develop and maintain competency in areas of international HR and international payroll
- Partner with external stakeholders and Borderless payroll specialists to support customers with payroll processes across third-party payroll service providers
- Communicate across and partner with multiple Borderless AI departments to help maintain continuity in our customer experience
- Continuously evaluate HR and payroll processes and systems for efficiency and scalability
Great candidates will have:
- 5+ years in an HR or payroll role within a SaaS startup or the Fintech industry
- Experience with benefits providers and benefits administration
- Deep expertise with employee onboarding and offboarding policies and procedures Knowledge of multiple payroll platforms, with international payroll experience valued
- A detail-oriented nature with the ability to work independently with little supervision, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- A hands-on, can-do mentality, with comfort in fast-paced environments
- Fluency in French or Spanish is an asset
